The Lovers and The Tower Tarot: we finally chose each other — why did it still blow up?

we stopped the maybe. told families. booked the trip to celebrate. week later one fight about money turned into 'maybe we made a mistake' and now the chat is ice.

asked what this is. Lovers upright, Tower upright. choice made, structure gone. part of me thinks choosing was the error. part of me thinks the fight exposed something we papered over.

does Lovers plus Tower mean the bond was wrong, or that a real choice can still hit a crash?

Lovers upright is a real choice — values, alignment, saying yes with eyes open. Tower upright is sudden collapse of a shaky frame around that choice. Together: picking each other does not armor you against money fights, family pressure, or buried habits. Lovers was the yes. Tower is what the yes could not hold yet. Concrete check: name the choice (us) and the cracked piece (money / family / trust). Fix or face the cracked piece before you scrap the whole yes.
