Wheel of Fortune and Death Tarot: luck turned — is this just a cycle or a real ending?

two months ago i was the favorite for lead. coffee with the director. people joking about my raise. then a reorg email. my role dissolved. 'new opportunities internally' that look like nothing.

asked what this swing is. Wheel of Fortune upright, Death upright. wheel turns, then a chapter closes. part of me wants to wait for the wheel to be nice again. part of me knows that seat is gone.

is Death saying leave the company, or just that the old title is finished?

Wheel upright is a turn — up or down, timing shifts. Death upright is a form ending. Not usually literal death. A chapter closes. Together: the luck streak flipped, and the old role/shape is done. Waiting for the same seat to spin back is often a trap. Death wants you to stop feeding a finished title. Concrete check: update the resume this week even if HR smiles. If the 'internal opportunities' have no date and no owner, treat the chapter as closed.

Buzz is Wheel. Offer letter is real. You got buzz. Death is naming that the story ended before the paperwork. Grieve the almost. Still move.

Some turns do come back around inside a company. Many do not. Set a deadline: two weeks of real internal talks. Then outside applications either way.

Up then down is human workplaces, not a hex. Tell one mentor the truth. Send three outside applications. Keep dignity in the exit if it comes.
